Youth Ministry at Central is committed to walking alongside teenagers as they develop their relationship with God. Here we believe that every individual has the spark of Divinity in them and we seek to respect and love all for who they know themselves to be.
Youth programs at Central have the perfect combination of excitement and introspection and are centered around three concepts: belonging, growth, and service to others. We accomplish these concepts through the following programs:
The youth cafe space is open on Sundays from 10 am to 10:45 am to enjoy a nice drink, some music, and some downtime with one another.
Every Sunday youth are invited to join one another in the front pew to take in the service together. Once the sermon is over, youth depart the sanctuary to discuss the service together over donuts.
On Sunday afternoons youth gather from 4 pm to 5:30 pm for snacks, music, games, and discussion centered around sticky questions. Join us to tackle the challenging topics!
Sierra Service Project
For one week in the summer, Central youth travel to amazing places along the west coast to learn and complete construction service projects for families in need. Projects are designed to make homes safer, warmer, and dryer for the occupants living there. On this trip youth experience the joy of serving others while being challenged in their faith in the most healthy of ways.
(Note: Work projects are supervised by adult counselors and youth undergo a detailed safety training before touching their first tools)
